City Facilities Information
VACCINATION AND NEGATIVE TEST REQUIREMENTS
Starting Oct 25th, the REP in the recreation facilities have the requirement of double vaccinated for entrance approval for 18+ or a proof of negative COVID test within 72 hours.
Please ensure your participants (of required age), coaches, volunteers and members (visiting teams) know of the new requirement.
Starting November 15 only the QR code will only be accepted (unless Military, First Nations or out of Province) OR proof of Negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours.
DRESSING ROOM ENTRY TIMES
- If a youth under 18 years of age is accessing a City of Fort Saskatchewan recreation facility with the REP in place for the sole purpose of taking part in a youth activity, they would NOT need to provide proof of vaccination status, physician note, or negative test. Youth participating in sport, fitness, recreation and performance activities must screen for symptoms, maintain 2-metres distancing and wear a mask (except while engaged in physical activity).
- Individuals 12 years and older must show one of the acceptable options for proof of vaccination if they wished to spectate or use any other amenity in the facility. If youth are spectating, proof of vaccination, medical exemption or paid negative COVID-19 test is required.
- Face masks are required in all indoor public spaces, except while being physically active
- Adults (Players, coaches, trainers, volunteers and spectators) are required to have proof of vaccination to enter City of Fort Saskatchewan REP Facilities.
- Dressing rooms and showers will be fully open. Prolonged grooming is still discouraged so we ask that dressing rooms be vacated 30 minutes after your booking.

- Please note entrance to the Arena is only allowed if the team has supervision i.e. / Coach, assistant Coach, assigned parent.*
- Other municipalities may have different rules with their REP program and it is each sports responsibility to know their rules prior to participating in their facilities in a minor sport activity.
